About Me: My name is Lisa and I come to T4T with a varied background. I received a BFA in Graphic Communications from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1995. While doing freelance Graphics work, I was also a home health care aid. Eventually, a very special family hired me exclusively to care for their family members. I was with this family for 4.5 years until my clients passed way, one from natural causes and one waiting for a double lung transplant. My position with this family was so special that I decided to continue helping people. I went back to school and received a Masters in Project Management. Following my degree, I signed up and participated in an AmeriCorps*VISTA volunteer position for one year. The project was Teaming for Technology. I spent a year getting the program up and running in the Colorado Springs area. The program was incredibly successful, so successful was it that IBM found funding to continue our great work for another year following an outpouring of community concern. When funding was found, T4T offered me the opportunity to come back and I jumped at the idea! So, here I am!
