RMCAD - Introduction to Adobe Dreamweaver

This class is offered by the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. 10 week course beginning October 2nd.

Using the most current version of Dreamweaver, in this introductory course students will learn techniques for designing, building, and maintaining successful web sites. Topics and themes covered will include user-centered design, on-line brand identity, and designing information architecture.

This class is offered by the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. 10 week course beginning on October 2nd.

Using the most current version of Adobe InDesign, student will be introduced and learn how to copy and paste Adobe Illustrator graphics, display an image at full resolution, easily export pdf files with built-in Distiller settings and manage color between Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Acrobat.

This class will cover the basics of using Microsoft PowerPoint 2000/2003 to enhance your presentations. Topics will include:

  • Adding new slides
  • Using the Master Slide
  • Working with text
  • Navigating between slides
  • Using design templates
  • Inserting graphics
  • Adding animation and special effects

MCS - Excel 2007 Basic

This course is offered by Mission Critical Systems.

Understanding the new 2007 features and utilization. This course is recommended for all levels, even for frequent 2003 Excel users. It will focus on working with the new 2007 tools to learn the new way to accomplish tasks that might have been done with older Excel or programs.

Using the Ribbon, navigating to accomplish tasks, viewing and using the new templates, custom layout options, using the designer-quality SmartArt graphics, old functions with new tricks, Galleries, line previews, Microsoft Office button.
